JabDay — Privacy Policy

JabDay ("the app") is a dose-tracking and progress companion for weight-loss treatments. This policy explains what data the app handles and how.

Data stored on your device

Your medication schedule, dose logs, injection sites, weight entries, water/protein intake, side-effect notes and progress photos are stored locally on your device in the app's private database. Progress photos never leave your device and can additionally be locked with Face ID / biometric authentication. We do not upload, sell or share this health-related content.

Data we collect

The app uses the following third-party services, which collect limited data on our behalf:

• Firebase Analytics (Google): anonymised usage events (e.g. screens viewed, feature usage), device model, OS version, app version and a per-install identifier. Used to understand how the app is used and improve it. No dose values, weights, photos or other health content are included in analytics events.
• Firebase Crashlytics (Google): crash reports and diagnostics (device state, stack traces) to fix bugs.
• Firebase Remote Config (Google): fetches app configuration; no personal data is sent.
• RevenueCat: processes subscription status using an anonymous app user ID and your App Store / Google Play purchase receipt. We never see your payment details; payments are handled by Apple or Google.

What we do NOT do

• We do not require an account and do not collect your name, e-mail address or contacts.
• We do not sell personal data.
• We do not use your data for third-party advertising and the app contains no ad networks.
• We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.

Notifications

Dose reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. Reminder times are not sent to any server.

Data retention & deletion

Because your health-related data lives only on your device, deleting the app deletes that data. You can also clear individual logs in the app. Analytics data is retained by Google Firebase according to its standard retention settings (14 months) and cannot be linked back to you by us.

Children

JabDay is intended for adults (18+) using prescribed treatments and is not directed at children.
